I present the Shrek rig, whom originated from DreamWorks Animation. This project is probably one of my most rewarding project I've ever done just from using Blender alone. I wanted to do a very popular character to see if I can replicate how they do in big studios in the comfort of my own home. This project took months to complete and I'm very happy the finished project. The actual rig skeleton I had custom made was all thanks to using the built-in addon: Rigify.

I also was thinking and said to myself "I feel like I can do more than just the regular clothes this rig can wear." So I decided to add more than that (the knight accessories). Haven't got the sword but that'll be made in the future hopefully.

For said armour, I wanted it to look rough like actual armour is known to be, they're some tweaks that'll most likely be made when I come to it. The problems however, was finding out how to make realistic or at least appealing looking metal for the texture in the shader editor.

The one and only thing I worried about when making this specific project was the level of detail I was adding to it, I was wondering whether I was adding too much or not enough. Then there were complications with the skin when it comes to using the multires modifier on the mesh, and manually brushing the skin pores and details on, because whenever I wasn't happy with how it looked I had to start all over. After all that, I still decided not to give up whenever I felt worn out from doing the same thing over and over because I wanted to get this done.
